Prespective is used in almost any piece of art from photography, drawings, animations, films, paintings. It is the process of making an image have more or less depth, make it symmetrical and make objects look taller or shorter than they actually are. The way of using prespective is different in each form of art. In drawings/painting etc, the artist is able to make points and lines to used as a grid like table to draw one. In my example below i have made a centre dot in the middle, i have then added lines coming from that dot for my grid. Then i lined up my square onto some of the lines so each corner of the 2D square is touching a line. Finally i made the square look 3D by making the three corners of the square go along the lines to make it look as if its popping out and has depth.
