Tactic games involve using strategy and thinking about what your next move will be. In Fire Emblem you control several characters in a grid like map, you attack other enemies by getting close on the grid or using a ranged attack with certain characters. The two Fire Emblem games we looked at were on the the GameBoy Advance and the newest game in the franchise on the Nintendo Switch. The main difference is graphics however there are many more differences like menu systems and bigger maps/grids. Another difference between the 2 games is that the GBA uses text while the Switch instead uses speech/voice lines. Text can be better for people who prefer reading however speech is better for people with reading problems. Speech can also get new people introduced to the game with voice actors and other projects they have done.
