Shows/Movies that inspire me

WandaVision

WandaVision is a show that inspires me in game design with its time shifts in each episode, i found this concept to be very interesting and it already related to my past game idea which involed time travel. Each era of TV is represented incredibly well and gives a good idea of what each era was like.

Fantasic Mr Fox

Fantastic Mr Fox is a movie that inspires me with its style, tone and animation. The tone of the movie is very straight to the point and blunt, the characters always speak and interact quick and make the movie feel alive. The animation is stop motion and is done very well, its very obvious that it is stop motion but that brings a charm to it. The style and colour mostly consists of orange colours which makes the movie feel like Autumn, or this could be to reference to foxs being orange.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable (Part 4)

While i love all of JoJo, the 4th part inspires me the most. This is due to the theming, colours, outfits and music. The theming and music is heavily inspired by the 80s/90s era since Part 4 does take place in the 90s. While the colours are very unrealistic compared to other JoJo parts and the real world itself, it almost feels natural for the sky to be orange and for the houses to be green and trees to be purple.

The Earthbound Franchise

Earthbound inspires me through the style, while only being 8Bits and 16Bits the game still manages to have a distinct style. The colours are usually very bright and give a neon like vibe. The character designs are very simple but are very different from one another.

Overwatch

Overwatch inspires me with its big selection of characters. Each character looks and has a different style. Each characters looks like how they would play in game, likw how Reinhardt is incased in armour and has a big hammer which would make you assume he is a melee character. The maps are very interesting as well since they are set in the future so the real world places have been given futuristic technology.

Plants Vs Zombies

Plants Vs Zombies is one of my all time favourite game franchises thanks to its range of plant designs. Each plant is uniquly designed and sometimes comes with clever names and puns. The zombies also have very interesting designs but i prefer the plants.
