First Ideas

Idea 1 - Scincus Reptile

One of my first few ideas was involving a Scincus reptile interacting with the world around me. I had an idea of having it run around and then burrow into sand and swim away. Another idea was having the creature interact with my cats or dog and maybe have them chase it. This might not end up being my final idea due to having to look at other reptiles for research which I'm not really fond of. I feel like modeling every single scale would be a bit of a challenge.

These Reptiles come from North Africa and Southwestern Asia. They live in typical desert habitats like sandy and dune-like areas with hot and dry weather. The adults are around 18-20cm long which is important for me to know if I'm wanting to have them interact with my pets. They are mostly all the same colour, ranging from different variations of yellow with black stripes along their scales.

Idea 2 - Water

I have an idea to do something with water, one idea is me pouring a glass of water and going to drink it and then something big happening like me spitting the water out with a disgusted/surprised look on my face. Or having the water spill on me or my cat and make my cat run away since they don't like water. I have never tried making water in Blender so this would involve learning how to whether it be a challenge or not and i will gain a new skill on how to make liquids along the way.

Idea 3 - Toy Robot

An idea that I feel very confident in being able to make is a Toy Robot due to the quite simple structure of traditional robots. I would make it walk around and potentially attack my cat and then try to make my cat attack it back and knock it over. Robots have many designs but mine would probably be made to look like a retro one. Since there are probably tons of these robots in the world I wanted to make a somewhat invasion story and have them surround the environment. I would give them different ways of entering the scene, for example some can hover in like how a rocket would land and some could march in. I think it would be fun to experiment with all the different designs that these robots can come in.

Robot Designs

This robot design is quite basic and small, it looks cute and doesn't really give off a threatening look. If I were to have robots taking over the place I'm filming, these robots wouldn't feel that worrying. Animating this robot would be very simple as well, all I would have to animate is the wheel and the wind-up key in the back. I could add other details like flashing lights, emotions, arms and grabbers.
