Today we started a look into animation by watching a documentary about Ray Harryhausen and his work in the animation industry and how he inspired many animators to do what they do today. I learnt that Ray made all his own models and had a skeleton like part inside of the model which was used to actually move the model so he could use stop motion. He created his creature models with reference to real life animals and other beings. This made the creatures seem more real which made it more realistic to how they'd live and move in real life
After that we got introduced to Blender and got to play around with it and explore. I learnt a good deal of new skills to use in Blender. I have learnt how to create models, change size, shape, duplicate.
To insert a shape you have to press shift+A and then select a mesh.
changing size can either press the size button or press "s" on your keyboard
